The ACC had a rebuilding year for a number of different reasons. North Carolina who has been one of the best teams in the sport, struggled to a last-place finish in the league. Duke is a good team but they were extremely inconsistent this year. Louisville was much-improved from last year but one can argue they failed to live up to expectations. Virginia was obviously going through a rebuilding year as they lost their three best players from last year’s team and while they defend really well, they struggle on offense. One team though not only lived up to expectations and exceeded all the expectations and that was the Florida State Seminoles, who won the outright ACC title thanks to a great defense and enough shot-making on the other end. While the ACC regular-season may have been wacky, we have four teams that are really good, while a few others will be looking to make a run in the league tournament and maybe steal a bid.
