ATS Winners: Tuesday, November 12th

After taking Monday off we are back for picks for what should be a great Tuesday slate of games. Tuesday will see some of the better Gavitt Games matchups, as well as the Phil Knight Invitational which features Oregon vs. the James Wiseman led Memphis Tigers. I have some slight updates with one being that I will now be doing Over/ Unders. I think this is something that is something that is sometimes easier to pick than the spread, so with some games, I will write Stay away and then go into stating which over/ under I would recommend.

Featured games

Creighton at Michigan

6:30 PM ET on FS1

Line: Michigan -4.5

ATS Pick: Stay away, take the under on 146.

Why? I trust Michigan in this spot as they are the veteran-led team playing at home, so they will at least try to dictate the pace of the game. I really don’t know whether or not Michigan can win by 5 but I do think they’ll at least make this a game in the 60s.

Missouri at Xavier

7 PM ET on CBS Sports Network

Line: Xavier -3

ATS Pick: Xavier

Why? I think this Xavier team is really being undervalued in this spot. First off, they are playing a home game which gives them some advantage, to begin with. Second off, the Musketeers are a Top-25 team that returns its top four scorers from last year’s team which gives them an advantage from an experience standpoint. Add that they are playing a middle of the pack team in the SEC and there’s no reason not to pick Xavier in this spot.

Minnesota at Butler

8:30 PM ET on FS1

Line: Butler -10

ATS Pick: Butler

Why? Butler has been one of the most impressive teams in College Basketball this season as they are really lighting up the scoreboard without some of their best players. While Minnesota is a better team than those other two opponents, I still like this Butler team to win rather comfortably.

Oregon vs. Memphis

9 PM ET on ESPN

Line: Oregon -2.5

ATS Pick: Oregon

Why? In this game I like the Ducks, I think the guards of Oregon are a lot better than I like the overall impact Wiseman brings to this game. I think Pritchard makes this a slower tempo game, which will play to the Ducks benefit and if they can make some shots, they will win.

Oregon State vs. Oklahoma

11 PM ET on ESPN2

Line: Oklahoma -1.5

ATS Pick: Oklahoma

Why? Oregon State to their credit toughed out a nice home win against Iowa State, however, this is not a home game for the Beavers and Oklahoma is a better opponent than Iowa State. With those two factors in mind, I am rolling with Oklahoma to win this game.

Other good bets

Washington State at Santa Clara

10 PM ET

Line: Santa Clara -5.5

ATS Pick: Washington State

Why? Give me Kyle Smith with the best player on the court CJ Elleby to not only cover but win this game outright.

Sunday’s Results: 2-2

Year to date: 13-20
