The Big 12 has been traditionally one of the deepest leagues with 6-7 teams. This year the depth wasn’t there, the league is skating on thin ice with only 5 teams looking like they will get in. The team to beat is Kansas who won their 15th Big 12 title in the last 16 years. The Jayhawks are the best team in the country by any metric and are already locked into the top overall seed. Baylor is also locked into a one seed after an incredible season where they won 15 games in Big 12 play. Oklahoma and West Virginia are questionable long-term but are definitely in the field. The big game will be Texas-Texas Tech which will see a bubble game that could determine who makes the NCAA Tournament. This league tournament is always exciting, with the event usually drawing a large crowd, here are my picks for the event.
