The Big Ten was the best league in the sport this season and this was due to the fact that the league has 10 legitimate NCAA Tournament teams. The Big Ten has three Champions in Michigan State, Maryland, and Wisconsin. Those three teams all get double-byes in the Tournament along with Illinois. Michigan State enters into the Tournament as the favorites, they have been playing well recently and have the best player in Cassius Winston. Maryland has probably the most talent as a team overall, but Mark Turgeon isn’t great. Illinois, Iowa, Wisconsin, and Michigan all will have a chance to make a run towards the title game. Indiana is a team that needs an early win to get into the NCAA Tournament as an at-large. The one trend within the league is that home teams have traditionally dominated but it will be interesting to see with the home court thrown out, which teams can prove their worth on a neutral court.
