Kansas picks up win against Haliburton-less Cyclones

Lawerence, KS – #3 Kansas played host to the Cyclones of Iowa State at the Allen Fieldhouse. Despite the best efforts from a red-hot Iowa State team in the first half, the Jayhawks were able to pull away and win this one 91-71.

The Cyclones were coming in off a 29-point win against Texas in which was their first win without their leading scorer, Tyrese Haliburton.

Sophomore guard Devon Dotson led all scorers with 29, and the Cyclones were led by Prentiss Nixon who chipped in 20.

Bracketology Effect: Iowa State is completely out of the discussion for an at-large bid. Kansas stays solid at the 1 line, with a rematch in Waco coming up on Saturday.

Betting Effect:
Covered: Kansas -17, Over 141
