There are many fun league tournaments in the sport and the MAC should be no different this year. While Nate Oats left and the premier program in the league, Buffalo, won’t be likely making a run at the title, the rest of the league tournament sets up to be extremely exciting. The league was won by Akron, who went 14-4 in league play en route to a league title. The Zips are certainly the most complete team, which makes them the favorite to win the league title but many teams have a chance. Bowling Green was in position to win the league title before a late-season slide put them to the two seed. Northern Illinois, Ball State, and Buffalo all finished above .500 in league play, which puts them in position to make a run. The MAC traditionally is dominated by the top talent teams but does that change, I have made my picks for this league tournament.
