The MEAC is not traditionally one of the best leagues in the sport and that is a pretty obvious statement. That being said, the league has delivered us with an entertaining tournament time and time again with the MEAC title game always feeling up for grabs. This year should be no different as throughout the season there was plenty of parity within the league. North Carolina Central won the league regular-season title and earned the number one seed, this team has traditionally been dominant in the league and they will be expected to win the league tournament. North Carolina A&T and Norfolk State have both been really good over the years, those two teams certainly have a good chance to win the league title. With what should be a competitive league tournament the tournament should be very fun.
