2019 Mock Draft: December edition

NBA Mock Draft: December Edition

This is my first mock draft of the season, I have gotten now a decent look at some of the prospects in this upcoming draft. I did used a random number generator to choose the draft lottery at the top and then I went with the records of NBA teams to decide how the rest of the draft lottery would shape up. Note I have updated positions to best reflect the new modern day positions. A guard is someone who can run the point, although they don’t need to necessarily play the point guard position on their team. A wing is someone who has guard like skills, however, isn’t able to run the point or at least they won’t run the point. A forward is anyone who can play either the three, the four or the five, they rebound, while depending on the player they can stretch out or play inside. A big is someone who will play mostly the five in the modern NBA and is focused on protecting the paint for teams, while scoring on the inside. I adjusted these to reflect the modern NBA and how basketball is at the moment. For this mock draft I will be showing my picks, follow future mock drafts as they will have breakdowns for each player where as this one will not. Here is how I would have the NBA Draft breaking down at the moment if the NBA Draft were to take place today.
