Oregon super athlete, C.J. Walker to transfer.

Oregon forward CJ Walker has announced that he will transfer from Oregon. CJ Walker is an unreal athlete, he may be the best pure athlete in all of College Basketball, which is great although he is really raw as a Basketball player. He’s a 4-man/small ball 5, and maybe even some Wing. He stated that due to COVID-19, he has close family members with health issues and wants to be closer than home, which will almost certainly get him a waiver. He will have three years of eligibility left when he becomes eligible. Now let’s examine where the Florida native could be headed.

Miami: The U is a logical landing spot, he had 52% Crystal Ball’s on 247sports to head to Miami. I believe they are full scholarship wise, but they can get rid of someone if they want Walker.

Florida State: Another team that’s full scholarship-wise, this seems like the ideal Leonard Hamilton guy. He loves his crazy good raw athletes Patrick Williams, Scottie Barnes most recently. They offered him in High School and I believe they are the closest school to his Hometown.

Florida: Florida is a team that really isn’t all that deep in the frontcourt, so they could use some more frontcourt help for next season. Omar Payne is the only established big man that is scheduled to play next season, while Walker maybe fits better as a four-man, playing a super-small lineup with Walker and Keyontae Johnson is interesting.
