I apologize for taking off yesterday, as I felt the slate of games wasn’t quite good enough to make predictions but I am back today. It is a Saturday in February, which means we are due for some madness. There are great games taking place today and some good spreads to pick with, so here are my Against the Spread picks for the day. 

Maryland at Michigan

Against the Spread: Michigan

Final Score Prediction: Michigan 71 Maryland 62

Why this pick? I think Maryland keeps this interesting but at the end of the day Michigan is the better team and they are playing at home. 

Clemson at Louisville

Noon ET on ESPN

Line: Louisville -4.5

Pick: Louisville

Against the Spread: Louisville

Final Score Prediction: Louisville 78 Clemson 65

Why this pick? The Cardinals took a devastating loss to Duke on Tuesday but I do think they respond well following that games.

Why this pick? TCU is peaking, Oklahoma is struggling, I will take TCU all day, any day.

Why this pick? Virginia should win this game handily, a spread less than 20 does seem low.

Why this pick? In a big bubble game, I think Alabama wins going away late in this one. 

Indiana at Minnesota

Why this pick? The Gophers are playing at home where they play well, while Indiana is still struggling, take Minnesota to win this game.

Why this pick? The Red Raiders are rolling right now, this seems like a good time to ride them.

Why this pick? The Wildcats are on fire right now, I don’t want to pick against them right now.

Why this pick? The Terriers are really good but asking them by 8 against a good UNC Greensboro team is hard to do.

Why this pick? Tennessee hasn’t played a Top-40 team in the NET rankings since early December, I think playing a team like Kentucky could take some time to adjust and it will lead them to a loss.
