Southern Conference Championship picks

Many Mid-Major Conference Tournaments are great and each of them has there own reasons for their greatness. For my money though, the SoCon Tournament sets up to be not only the best conference tournament but also one of the most impactful this season. East Tennessee State won the outright league regular-season title by going 16-2 in league play. Steve Forbes’ Buccaneers with a 24-4 record, a Top-45 ranking in the NET, and a signature blowout win at LSU look like a team more than capable of getting an at-large bid, so long as they avoid a bad loss. UNC Greensboro has the best player in the league in Isaiah Miller who is an all-around stud that will look to help lead UNCG to the NCAA Tournament after narrowly missing out last season. Furman has a stud in Jordan Lyons who will look to get hot and carry this team to the Big Dance. There are three teams in this league that depending on matchups, could win multiple games in the NCAA Tournament. While we all expect ETSU, UNCG, and Furman to be playing for a title, nothing is a given in March.
